The World Through My Eyes.

I’m not even using the public transportation because the city isnt that big. Well I mean, I walk like 30 minutes to get wherever I’m going, which I don’t think is that bad. I mean I have a little pudge I want to get rid of. All this pizza and gelato is not going to help. 

I’m going to be honest, this is one of the first times I’ve felt completely broke. Like I have NO MONEY. It’s a terrible feeling, but my trip is over in less than a month. I’ll survive. 

I walked around the expensive posh part of town and it was cool seeing everyone dressing their best because its Milan fashion week. I like the people here. They’re attractive.

So what’s left of my itinerary is:

Milan until the 26th.

Verona/Lake Garda from the 26th-28th.

Venice from the 28th-1st of March.

Florence from the 1st-4th.

Pisa on the 4th-5th.

Naples from the 5th-9th

and finally Rome from the 9th-14th.

Then Istanbul,Turkey from the 14th-22nd.

Then I fly into vegas, my friends come up, we spend the weekend there and then drive down.

I can’t believe my trip is over already after 7 months!

Obviously my previous post did not include everything that happened on my trip to Berlin and Stockholm but there’s no way I can write it all.

So let me start off with the airport. When I was checking in in Sweden the lady that checked me in almost lost my bag. Because I was flying to Berlin to catch a flight to Milan I had booked a while back. This flight was Berlin-Munich-Milan. I asked her if there was any way to make my bag go all the way to Milan so I wouldn’t have to worry about picking it up after my first flight. She’s like sure. And she put the flight to Berlin and then she put the flight to Milan. But she didn’t put the middle flight. I was like are you sure it’ll get there? But I knew it wouldn’t because the flight to Milan she put was from Munich not from Berlin. And I was trying to explain that so I was like nevermind bitch. Just send it to Berlin and I’ll pick it up. Ugh.

So everything went fine and I landed in Milan. The bus to the city was 7.50€ which is ridic considering a train to Verona is 12€. I was so exhausted because I didn’t sleep at all the night I spent at the airport. So I just checked into my hostel, showered, relaxed and then fell asleep.

So I guess today is my official first day in Italy. I walked over to the duomo. Walked around town. Found the fashion week tent and decided I need to step up my game. I’m going to get a haircut and dress cuter while I’m here.

I’ve had gelato and I’m waiting for my pizza. I love Italy. :]

I think the last time I wrote a post I was in Amsterdam. I don’t know why. I haven’t been like deathly busy or anything. But since then I’ve been to two more countries. Germany and Sweden.

Let me tell you. Berlin is fucking amazing. Like that city has been through so much and I love how gritty and rough the appearance of the city is. Its like dirty and old and run down but that’s part of what makes it amazing. They have so much street art. I dare you to find a wall with no Grafitti on it. Haha. Beer is so cheap there. It was even cheaper than water! So obviously thats what I drank. It was just so cool. I ate probably like 30 kebabs. So good. Berlin is actually pretty cheap. And I made some cool friends in the hostel.

In sweden I stayed with my friends Max and Ida who I met in Peru on my machu picchu trek. They are so awesome and they let me stay with them for a week. I didn’t do much museuming because sweden is ridic expensive. So I just walked around the city a lot. It’s beautiful there. We went to a polish party because max is polish and it was his stepmoms birthday. Everyone drank a lot of vodka.

I have been in holland for a week. Amsterdam is pretty fun. I took a picture with the “I Amsterdam” sign. I went to volendam and zaandam. Volendam had some cool houses. Zaandam had the really cool windmills. I went to some museums. Walked down the red light district, walked around, went to the heineken museum. Went to the library, went out a couple of times. I have one more week here. I’ll post a more detailed blog post later. I’m not in the mood to blog right now. Haha.
